We are delighted that 125 young musicians received an AYM Scholarship this year. Supporting instruments and composition across all musical genres, we are pleased that we’ve been able to award more than £80,000 to young people, some of whom we’ve been helping for several years. We are looking forward to developing a programme of activities which include welcoming our cohort of young musicians to a range of AYM projects, events and, in particular, the annual Awards Day this coming autumn.

2014 Awards Day takes place on 2 November at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff, in partnership with The BBC National Orchestra of Wales (BBC NOW). This popular day is an excellent example of how our all-round support helps talent flourish and maximise potential; it’s a great illustration of how AYM is about so much more than just our Awards programme.
