Your donation makes an instant impact. It’s an investment where you can see a return in the musical development of young players. It takes the pressure off families who are struggling to support their talented children. It shows young musicians that their talent is valued, boosting their confidence and self-esteem. It creates positive role models by helping young translate their potential into success. And your donation enables them to keep making the music they love.
If you want to support our work, you can make a donation in three ways:
Complete the Donation Form and post it to us, together with a cheque made out to Awards for Young Musicians
Visit Virgin Money Giving to make a direct donation using your credit or debit card
Whichever way you make a donation please make sure you sign the Gift Aid declaration if you are a UK taxpayer. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, AYM can claim back the tax you’ve already paid. This increases our income and enables us to expand our work.
Donate from your mobile via JustTextGiving
Have you heard about Just Text Giving? You might have seen the advertisements on TV? It’s an easy new way to raise money for charity and AYM needs your help to get the word about! There are no costs to us as a charity at all - so every penny raised goes to help even more talented young musicians.
Donations can be made direct from anybody’s mobile on any network. All you have to do is text AYMA01 and the amount you want to donate: £1, £2, £3, £4, £5, or £10 to 70070. If the donor is a UK tax payer they’ll then be given the option to opt into Gift Aid. And that’s it!All text donations are free and won't come out of any inclusive texts you have as part of your price plan - even if you’re not with Vodafone. You simply pay the cost of the donation. When you make a text donation, it'll either be deducted from your mobile phone credit or added to your mobile phone bill - and you won't pay any VAT on the donation either.
It’s a really easy way to make donations to AYM – and every donation makes a valuable difference in helping us help more young musicians.
Remember a charity in your willAYM is a member of the Remember a Charity campaign. Remember a Charity
Giving to charity in a will is tax-free, so we get the maximum benefit and it can save inheritance tax. It simply involves adding a codicil to your will, giving the name and number of the charity and perhaps index-linking your gift up to a specified amount.
Make AYM the beneficiary of funeral tributesMany people ask friends and relatives to make a gift to AYM instead of sending flowers to their funeral.
This is a very fitting tribute to someone for whom music has been a big part of their life
