The single was launched on the 6.00 pm BBC London news on Friday 11 December and released on iTunesAmazon and Google Play on Wednesday 16 December. The single features London-based young musician and AYM Award winner Chris Hatwell on piano.

Chris and MilosChris is an exceptional pianist and guitarist.  As an AYM Award winner he received four years of funding towards his studies at Junior Trininty, plus access to a range of musical and mentoring opportunities, including attending our Annual Awards Days and meeting Milos, his guitar idol.

AYM has helped fulfil my dreams and ambitions – without their support and funding I wouldn’t be where I am today, I have met some amazing people through AYM and I am forever grateful for what they have done for me. Chris Hatwell

“Hometown City” was originally inspired by the resilience of Londoners in the 10th anniversary year of the 7/7 attacks. It was updated after the recent terrorist atrocities in Paris.

The single has been released by anonymous London producer “Falcon Fields” and is  available to download from iTunesAmazon and Google Play. Proceeds from the sale of the single will be split between the three charities.

Please support AYM and our friends at the 7/7 Tavistock Square Memorial Trust and Association Francaise des Victimes du Terrorism, by purchasing your copy.
