Supported by AYM from a young age, through both our Furthering Talent and Awards Programme, 15 year old pianist Kiera Osment is now pursuing a career in the pop music industry.  As a singer songwriter she combines her technical skills as a classically trained pianist with her love of composing and singing.

Her unique songwriting has been described by critics as “haunting”, “bewitching” and “utterly captivating”, as clearly demonstrated in the new video for her song “Forsaken”, recently recorded live at The Loft Barbers Lounge in Exeter.

We recently caught up with Kiera for a chat about all things musical; from how her classical training is helping her to be more creative in her songwriting, to drawing musical inspiration from her Spanish homework, to the challenges she currently faces securing gig bookings at a young age.  Click here to read the full interview.
